Super State Engine 1.0.1 - Some bug fixes.
Super State Engine for Game Maker » Devlog
I've started working on a game project myself with Super State Engine (rebooting Project Zeta) and so I've discovered a few bugs and some places I could improve. This is a good way to test my engine and make improvements to it.
Here's a few things fixed / added to version 1.0.1:
- Added "hurt_state" variable to actors so user can define what state to use when actor is damaged. Setting to "noone" will not change the state.
- Fixed collisions with actors flagged with "flag_solid = true".
- Fixed "invincibility_time" not being correctly used when triggering flash effect upon being damaged by projectile or enemy.
- Fixed small camera "jerk" at the end of navigating from one screen object to another.
I've uploaded a new "empty template" and an importable package but I haven't had time to update the two demos. I'll get to that a bit later to make sure everything is consistent.
Thanks and have fun!
